Welcome to the webpage of the Zoological Garden in Osijek!
Osijek Zoo is located on the left bank of the Drava river, separated from the city and the noise, full of greenery and fresh air, which makes it just the right place for quiet life of animals, and rest and relaxation of humans.
Zoological Garden of the City of Osijek was founded not very long ago, in 1955. In its 50 years of existence it was characterized by its size, as well as the number of animals.
Our Zoo has the largest open space for animals of all the Zoos in Croatia.
We strive to provide to the animals as much of their natural habitat as possible, from grassy plains, tall grass for resting and hiding their young, making nests, to groves in whose shades animals can hide from the sun during summer months.
